First renewable e-scooter production will soon start in Estonia

Start-up Äike is to design and fully assembly in Europe an electric scooter which will only use renewable energy and can have an independence of 40km range after one full charge.

Equipped with USB-CV charging capabilities, “the best designed electric scooter in the world” is set to be durable and repairable while offering zero-emissions comute.

The scooter comes with an app which makes it the smartest IoT-integrated scooter with ride-optimisation, and theft protection, as the founders promote it.

Now in the phase of pre-orders, the first scooters are to be shipped in November 2022.
