The TV show Love Island is making a strong move towards sustainability by pairing up with eBay.
Participants will be dressed in secondhand clothing, part of a specially curated collection of similar clothes available to purchase on eBay, and the Love Island villa will include a shared wardrobe from which everyone can borrow preloved pieces.
In Europe, textile consumption has the fourth-highest negative lifecycle impact on the environment and climate change, after food, housing, and transportation. One solution, fashion recommerce, can change the shopping habits of people who still go to cheap and instant fast fashion.
