Building a better future became mandatory, not a “nice to have” anymore

Start Social is a European initiative which supports social entrepreneurs to find solutions for today’s biggest social challenges through a 4-step-program of trainings and grants.

Inclusion, sustainability and resiliency are the most important elements of a healthy society and for this, Start Social invites Europe in a systemic call to action.

Acting within the triad of a hackathon, an accelerator and a grant organisation, this initiative invites social entrepreneurs from France, Spain, Poland, Slovenia, Germany and Italy to propose projects which can reshape how we look at our shared tomorrows from the lens of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Winners receive up to 10.000 Euros each.

Speed Networking: A fast-paced series of short, one-on-one conversations where participants can quickly introduce themselves and discuss mutual interests.
Group Discussions: Participants will be divided into small groups based on shared topics of interest (such as energy, agriculture, or urban sustainability) to explore ideas and possible synergies.
Collaboration Mapping: Using a visual tool, participants will highlight potential collaborations within the group, allowing them to identify common goals and resources that can be shared for future projects.

These activities are designed to help attendees make impactful connections in a short amount of time and foster potential long-term partnerships.
